Choir Boy opens on Thursday, October 23 and runs through Sunday, October 26. This gripping new play, with music, examines race, sexuality, faith, bullying, education and strained family relationships. The powerful show will move the audience as we journey with Pharus as he strives to take his rightful place as the leader of the legendary gospel choir at the Charles R. Drew Prep School for Boys. The strong themes presented in this play are so distinct in today’s society and will resonate on some level with all members of the audience.

Love Whitney, our final 2014 Season show, will feature all of Whitney’s greatest hits and will be performed only through dance. This touching, yet energetic dance-musical, catalogues her career while expressing the themes behind her music and story. The show runs from November 6 – November 8, and will certainly be a sell-out!

We will also continue partnering with Capitol City Grill Downtown for a special perk for NVT ticket holders before or after the show. Those attending In the Heights were offered a complimentary glass of wine….let’s see what special treat Capitol City Grill comes up with for our next two shows….e-mails will go out prior to the shows to keep you informed.
